Courier buildings on the corner of Edward and Queen Street departed Brisbane in 1985. Born in 1889, Courier Building was famous for its love for journalism and dissemination of news. Also known as Courier-Mail Building, Brisbanites made sure to visit the Austin & Co Hatters on the ground floor.
Courier Buildings was survived by a hole for 4 years and replaced by a
28-storey office tower.
