Simmons Chambers of Queen Street passed away in 1985. Re-born circa 1925, Simmons Chambers was known for being a sport enthusiast, procuring and trading in sports equipment in Brisbane and Australia. In March 1932, Simmons Chambers suffered from a fire that was quickly contained. Simmons Chambers famously hosted several billiard games.
Simmons Chambers was survived by a hole for 9 years and later replaced by a shopping mall.
