Of 93 Queen Street, Telegraph Building passed away in 1986. Telegraph Building was famous for the production of ‘The Telegraph’ evening newspaper. Also known as ‘Newspaper House’, Telegraph Building extended to Elizabeth Street and was distinguished by its eclectic façade. Telegraph Building remained home for the newspaper production till 1963 before moving elsewhere.
Telegraph Building was survived by a hole for 2 years and leaves behind the famous façade as part of a shopping mall.
